Useful DIY Rosacea Remedies From Coffee Scrub to Honey

#1 Coffee Scrubs

In recent years, coffee has been shown in scientific studies to have a wide variety of positive impacts as a skincare and beauty product. This includes everything from wrinkle repair to protection from skincare damage to a toning and firming effect on the skin.

And when coffee grounds are used to exfoliate in coffee scrubs, they’re also known to help with blemishes and problem skin due to their strong antioxidant potential. Coffee is certainly worth a closer look if rosacea is a problem for you. Whatever you use, just be sure to scrub gently and use gentle face-friendly ingredients.

#2 Green Tea

Coffee and tea both make refreshing morning beverages, and they also go together as rosacea home remedies. They are both loaded with skin-loving antioxidants that nurture and repair skin tissue.

To use green tea for rosacea, you can brew green tea like you normally would and chill it in the refrigerator. Then soak a cloth in the cold tea and place it over the irritated skin for soothing relief. This treatment is helpful when done twice a day.

#3 Oatmeal Mask

Oatmeal is packed with antioxidants that soothe irritated skin, so it’s perfect for sensitive complexions.

By mixing powdered oatmeal and water in equal parts, you can create a soothing mask that’s easy to apply. Leave it on the skin for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water and pat the skin dry. Doing this twice a day seems to provide the needed relief from rosacea symptoms. Give it a shot!

#4 Honey

Raw honey is a natural moisturizer and antibacterial that can balance out problem skin without it becoming too oily. And its anti-inflammatory properties directly address the symptoms of rosacea.

Try massaging the face with two tablespoons of raw honey a couple of times a week. Then you can rinse the face and apply moisturizer to continue the healing process.
